Pie "Smoke on the Water"... really?? C'mon! I'm a DP fan(atic) and I'm sick to death of it. If he were committed to "Machine Head", he shoulda done "Highway Star". Notwithstanding, there's some cool stuff here! Favorite track: Wolf.

Ugo Thrilled to finally have this rarity in my collection. I've been a fan of Nash since I first saw FM on TV Ontario's Nightmusic show way back in 1976. Nash is the original goth and the original steam-punk. But most of all his music and independence were an inspiration throughout my life. Thanks for reissuing these amazing works. I just wish Nash was still around to see this.

seanf65 Nash was unique. You can't say that about too many artists. Saw him open for Numan on his UK Teletour in 1980. Loved it. Wolf is very, very special. Deserved a spooky as hell Little Red Riding Hood style video to go with it. Favorite track: Wolf.

    Record/Vinyl + Digital Album

The rarest Nash the Slash release was Hammersmith Holocaust. Recorded live off the soundboard in 1980, Hammersmith has almost mythical status. It captures a young Nash supporting Gary Numan at his famous Hammersmith Odeon show, performing Children of the Night, Wolf, Smoke on the Water and other classic cuts.

Artoffact Records reissues Hammersmith Holocaust in an expanded gatefold sleeve, complete with a replica of the original insert, printed inside the fold. As a special bonus, Gary Numan, without whom the live show would not have happened, has written a wonderful piece for the liner notes, explaining why he invited Nash to be his support, as well as how influential Nash was over the years.

The vinyl is remastered, the artwork is restored, and the entire package comes on limited black vinyl

Includes unlimited streaming of Hammersmith Holocaust via the free Bandcamp app, plus high-quality download in MP3, FLAC and more.
